Hundreds of apartments planned on Trinity River site west of downtown Dallas

Construction is set to start this spring on a major residential community near the banks of Dallas’ Trinity River.

The $75 million construction is the second phase of Columbus Realty’s project, which is opening this month on Riverfront Boulevard just west of downtown.

The Dallas-based apartment builder broke ground on the first phase of its Margaret at Riverfront rental community in early 2022. The five-story building with 530 units was built near the entrance to the landmark Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge.

Rents in the first phase start at more than $1,500 a month for the smallest units with less than 500 square feet.
