Look Inside Robbins Brothers Fine Jewelers’ New Pasadena Flagship
Los Angeles—Robbins Brothers Fine Jewelers has opened a new 8,000-square-foot showroom in Pasadena, California, housed in a 1920s landmark building.

The move into Pasadena is a historic homecoming, said the company, which opened its first California store in Pasadena in the 1950s.

Founded in Seattle in 1921, the jeweler now operates 14 stores across Washington, California, Texas, and Arizona.

The building that houses the new store, located in Pasadena’s Playhouse District, was built in 1928. The space gives a grand and elegant vibe, with 30-foot coffered ceilings on the first floor and chandeliers.

It also features wall murals painted by Impressionist artist Alson S. Clark in the early 1920s.

“With Pasadena at the heart of their history, this exquisite venue serves as a nod to the past, while also celebrating Robbins Brothers’ legendary commitment to service and craftsmanship,” said the company.

The showroom includes diamond viewing rooms, designer boutiques, a master jeweler for in-house repairs, customization, and cleaning, as well as a VIP hospitality lounge.

The retailer carries several bridal and fine jewelry designers, including Tacori, A. Jaffe, Verragio, and Gabriel & Co., as well as watch brands.

The Pasadena store will also serve as its new corporate headquarters, which was previously in Azusa, California.

The location will double as a community space, hosting local vendors and businesses for pop-ups, said the company, adding it wants to be a “true partner” in the city.

The store, which was once a bank, also has a vault in the basement that can be used for events and activations.

To celebrate its new location, the retailer will host a week-long celebration, which began with its kick-off event on Saturday and will run through Nov. 21.

The opening event featured a red carpet, champagne, live music, magicians, and a photo booth, as well as drinks and snacks from local vendors, including Pancake Avenue LA, Drift Coffee, Gone Bananas, and Projects by Claudia.

The first 50 guests in line received a key that unlocked a secret vault with goodies inside. There were also prizes and giveaways, as well as 25 percent off everything.

The Pasadena store is located at 587 E. Colorado Blvd.
